Like you ...I've thought about this same thing. Like you and probably most readers if I comment on a blog, I never go back to read it either. After all, I've already read the blog. There's no need to read it again. I do, however, read the comments and notice that you will see the blogger leaving comments. I never could understand that. It just doesn't make sense to me ... but what do I know?

I do try to comment via email to everyone who leaves a comment on my blog. In a way it's thanking them for their comment. The problem is I don't have everyone's email and many come through without a way to locate them.

I guess we all do what works best for us.Wanderin'https://www.blogger.com/profile/18099094689836499939noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011926663070554423.post-9089613284000417682011-08-02T18:39:05.667-07:002011-08-02T18:39:05.667-07:00If I want to answer a comment I generally do it in...If I want to answer a comment I generally do it in the comment section. When I comment on a blog I always click whatever option there is to be notified of further comments. So, yes, I'd say that the comment section is a conversation. You miss a lot if you don't read all the comments as they come in.

Good for you guys on the exercise.Jonnahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14775514857047122526noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011926663070554423.post-37504750960329409922011-08-02T09:16:11.070-07:002011-08-02T09:16:11.070-07:00(1) Comments: we never go back to read later comme...(1) Comments: we never go back to read later comments in another blog. I know there are folks who have a dialogue there, and we probably miss some answers to our own comments, but there's not enough time now to go everywhere once, much less twice!

(2) San Francisco: We would never try to take our MH into SF! Eeek! We even don't like to drive the car there! However, there is a neat KOA in Petaluma, just a little way north over the Golden Gate Bridge. The Pacifica park is way too expensive for our budget.Jerry and Suzyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01381487159402842587noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4011926663070554423.post-72806801610389719532011-08-02T08:55:00.314-07:002011-08-02T08:55:00.314-07:00Thanks for answering my question, Kate. I too have wondered about this, although I don't get as many questions as you do! It's nice to have a chance to catch up, Kate. As you probably know, we have been on the road and getting only sporadic internet now and then, but I love the boondocking and dry camping, so it's worth it.Sue Malonehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00332448503740101970noreply@blogger.com
