ABC Wednesday again, the letter U this time . . .
We had an unusually long storm last night, wonderful for us and the earth, not so great for our tent campers, although none of them are complaining.
I'm just happy to be snuggled warm and dry in Cholula Red!
I woke up to gray skies and drops of crystal clear water on all the windows. Then I noticed that the rain didn't discourage out hummingbirds in the least.
I just love our window feeders. They allow us to see the birds up really close and the photo opportunities are endless.
This is my favorite shot of the morning which I'm calling
Under the Weather
The hummingbirds continue to fascinate and amaze.

Love your Under the weather post kate. Cozy in your own little world is a great way to start the day.
I've never seen hummers feeding in the rain - a beautiful capture!
I love this photo! So striking and dramatic.
Thank you, on behalf of the ABC Team.
I LOVE that photo!! I have a liking for raindrops-on-windowpane photos anyway, but the birds in silhouette adds the perfect touch!
Humming in the rain...I'm just hummmmming in the rain!
Can't hep m'self!
A wet one to be sure, but love the photos... those humming birds are amazing little guys. We only get to see them a few months of the year here.

The photos of the hummers in the rain are terrific. I am always amazed at multiples at or even
near the feeder. The ones in my area (Anna's I think) seem to be very territorial, thus one at a time at the feeder. By the way, how do you keep ants out of a window feeder?
Thoroughly enjoying your pictures from Ghost Ranch. What a place.
