Solar Ovens???

I don't get a lot of response from the blog, but PLEASE, if you have any experience with solar ovens, could you get in touch with me?

There is a lot of info on the internet, and I've been researching these for a while and am now more confused than ever.

I have joined a Solar Cooking group on Yahoo, but am looking for some real time practical knowledge.

Thank you and know that any response will be highly appreciated!

You can build the Fun-Panel solar cooker in less than an hour from half of a cardboard box and a few feet of aluminum foil. This is a simple but powerful cooker.

This is my favorite site. Probably not what you are looking for, but an interesting concept for doing it cheaply. I love that they are trying to help indigenous peoples in places where firewood is scarce.

Tom,

Thanks for the tip. My only concern with the lightweight home made ovens is that we are in windy New Mexico. Still, I will probably try this.

Thanks
