We weren't 100% sure where we were headed, but at the last minute we decided we had to go to Monument Valley (after all, there will be a full moon tomorrow night).
I have a lot to write about this mystical place, but it's getting late and I'm tired, so I'm just going to post a few pictures (and please, click each to see a larger version).
The sun was setting
and the moon was rising
as we entered this most magical place.

Here's one more shot.
And I just couldn't resist
playing with it just a bit.

I'll have more to share, but just so you know, once again, we're drycamping and these last two were literally taken out of the window of the rig.
Are we lucky or what?

Wow - drycamping AT Monument Valley! I love that place. We tried to go there a few years ago (on a day trip while we were staying in Durango) but when we got there, it was so windy that you couldn't see anything! We opted not to go into the park since it was so bad.
