a Fine 4th of July Parade

.
It's a time honored tradition that every 4th of July the folks at Ghost Ranch have a parade.

We're new here, but we wanted to join in,
so we decorated our golf cart
in the finest holiday tradition.

So there won't be any confusion,
you should understand
that this parade is open to one and all.

Everyone joins in the spirit.

The Recycling Center entry
was especially impressive
(can you spot Santa Claus?)

This float represents the Paleontology Group.
Lots of dinosaurs.
GRRR!

Lining up for the big event.

I LOVED this entry.
Since our golf cart doesn't even
have a windshield, these decorations
were particularly attractive to us!

My very favorite of the day,
the Ladies of Liberty . . .

One more shot of our cart.
I wish I could show you
our bubble machine in action,
but we were in the parade,
not on the sidelines
taking pictures!

It was great fun
and I just wanted to share.

This is it. What life is all about:

"I wish I could show you
our bubble machine in action,
but we were in the parade,
not on the sidelines
taking pictures!"

Thank you for reminding us all to keep playing on the court, not watching from the sidelines!

Hardy Har Har!!!

The folks at Ghost Ranch were kind enough to let us use a golf cart while we're camp hosting. That said, now that we're used to it, I'd love to bring one along in Cholula Red if I could jkust figure out where to stow it.
