Patterns and Colors

.

Just a few shots that caught my eye . . .

I recently visited the Tierra Woolen Mills in Los Ojos, New Mexico. Located in a building from the late 1800s, it offers an opportunity to see the creation of the beautiful weavings available all over this part of the country.

I have a lot of pictures, but need one more trip for a proper blog entry. Rather than wait, I thought I'd share three pictures of the original building that, to me, speak of the beauty of New Mexico.

These two shots are similar,
but I just couldn't decide
which one to post.
So you get both.

Years of the blazing New Mexico sun
produce this glorious array
of color and texture.
Remember to click to enlarge.

These are the original floors
dating from the late 1800s.
The stories they could tell . . .

I know it's not much,
but at least I'm posting!
