It wont come as a surprise to regular readers that we've been kind of stuck as far as clearing the house. I don't know how to explain it, we want to get it over with, but a strange paralysis seems to have afflicted us both.
So we continue to pretend it isn't happening and just go on with our lives like this giant elephant isn't in front of us.
"In order to move forward
you have to let go
and embrace the new."
you have to let go
and embrace the new."
"Borders and obstacles
only do two things.
They either stop us in our tracks
or force us to be creative."
only do two things.
They either stop us in our tracks
or force us to be creative."
"If my life were a book
and I were the author,
where would I want this story to go?"
and I were the author,
where would I want this story to go?"
And finally
"Rely on imagination
and
Believe in Possibility"
"Rely on imagination
and
Believe in Possibility"
This really hit me over the head.
And today
we started working in the house again.
And today
we started working in the house again.

My wife posted this on our wall, "Just Do It!, JUST DO IT!, just do it!" It helps me get going on procratinated projects.
So glad to hear that, Kate. Maybe you can break away for Christmas and come up to our house and visit? Sure would enjoy having you guys.
Wow what a story! Thank you for posting it.

It's not easy to start chewing away on that elephant. Rather overwhelming most days. But if you don't start, it won't ever get done. So I was glad to read you were on your way again.
One toe at a time!
Today I went to the dump for the first time in months. Granted I mostly too trash that I have been collecting all summer, but I also took a few things that were new to the "out" pile.
I hit my wall last spring. Mostly his name is Craig.
Wow...did I relate to this post. I don't understand now why we were so mentally tortured by clearing our house and garages...as it resulted in such a freedom... Getting stuff gone has been such a blessing, especially since we can't remember where we put things anyway. :]
Thanks...I needed that!!! Ditto what Russ said.
Very few words . . . many thoughts. Good for you and Thanks for the reminders.
