ABC Wednesday D

It's ABC Wednesday again, wow, a week sure goes by fast.

All week long, I've been looking for a good D, but alas, I've had to dig into my archives.

This one is my favorite this week. Years ago we were driving along a back road in Oceana, California. Off to the side of the road, we saw Dinosaurs rearing their heads, so of course we had to go back and see what was happening. At that time, we had never seen these sculptures, and this nursery certainly went out of its' way to showcase these beauties.

Since then, we've seen many
of these metal sculptures around the country,
but this little nursery had the best displays.

This shot reminded me of the end of Jurassic Park,
where the T Rex tears down
the "When Dinosaurs Ruled the Earth" banner.

It really made for a perfect shot

This shot was taken in my friend Carol's lovely garden.

I call it "Bee on Dahlia"
(and how "arty is that!)

For my final D I decided to include this shot
I took in Disneyland some years ago
Of the thousands of images I've shot in that location,
this is one of my very favorites

So that's my ABC Wednesday entry for the letter D.

I'm going to try really hard to find a NEW shot for next weeks letter E, but till then remember that

Nice selection of "D" photos, Kate. All the photos are great, but I do love the Disneyland teacups shot.

I thought I had seen the same dinosaurs, but the ones we passed (and went back to take pictures of) were between Lake Elsinore and Riverside.
