I have two entries for the letter H.
The first is a lovely little place we've found here in Truth or Consequences, where they serve the BEST breakfast burrito I've ever had.
The name?
the Happy Belly Deli!
Given my choice, I'll always pick the Mom and Pop establishment and this one certainly fits the bill. As we travel, we try to patronize the day to day folks that work hard to give us a variety of options. Homemade soup and wonderful sandwiches, this one is the genuine deal.
This next photo bears no resemblanceto the Happy Belly Deli.
Or the letter H.
But I just had to include it.
Needless to say, we didn't buy any of these oranges
And finally, my second letter H for the day.This photo is my Hunny Bunny Terry.
Here he is, early this morning, and it was COLD. With no thought for his own comfort, he's out there taking care of all our little birds. Making sure that they have water and food. . .
What a guy.
Today is our ninth wedding anniversary and Saturday will be the thirty ninth anniversary of our partnership.
I'm a lucky woman and I know it.

I too like to go to family run businesses...Starbucks ran all the little family owned coffee shops out of business here! The Happy Belly Deli looks cool.
